The Inauguration of the Trekking Club at Paavai Engineering College was successfully conducted with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members. The event began with a melodious Prayer Song by Miss. B. Devadharshini and Miss. M.P. Abinaya Sri of I Year Food Technology, invoking divine blessings for the program.
The Welcome Address was delivered by Miss. M. Rifana Farveen (I Year – ECE), who warmly greeted the dignitaries, faculty members, and students.
The Presidential Address was given by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal of the institution, who highlighted the importance of outdoor activities like trekking in developing physical fitness, leadership skills, and environmental consciousness among students.
The Chief Guest Address was delivered by Gopi S, Senior Manager at Canara Bank, Namakkal. He motivated the students by sharing his experiences and emphasized the significance of balancing career growth with personal well-being through activities such as trekking.
The Trekking Club is coordinated by Mr.Prasanna P, Assistant Professor, Department of Aeronautical Engineering, and Mr.J. Sujithkumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, whose efforts contributed significantly to the successful organization of the event.
The program concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr. P. Santhosh Kumar (I Year – IoT), expressing gratitude to the management, dignitaries, faculty coordinators, and students for their support and participation.
