The Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Paavai Engineering College has organized an online Seminar on Insights To Intellectual Property Rights ” through the Microsoft team’s platform on 07.08.2024 from 6.30 p.m. to 07.30 p.m.
The session continued with the resource person’s talk. He emphasized on the significance of this seminar as well as the numerous operations of our IIC & EDC cell. Earlier Selvan Immanuvel, IV Year EEE, introduced the Chief Guest. John De Britto C ,Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, Saveetha Engineering College, Thandalam, Chennai commenced the session with a quote “Innovation is equal to Creativity and Commercialization”. He has talked about the definitions of intellectual property and intellectual property rights, the global IPR regime, and Indian laws governing IPR. He concluded the session using Bill Ford as a real-life example. He concluded the session by insisting the participants to develop innovative ideas.
