The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with ISTE organised an Alumni guest lecture titled “Navigating the Career Landscape: Mastering the Job Search and Seizing Opportunities” on 24.12.2023. The welcome address was given by Mr.S.Loganathan, Assistant Professor/ECE followed by Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal gave the presidential address. In his address, he appreciated the alumni speaker and motivated the students to utilize this opportunity and be interactive during the session. Ms.V.Shanmathi, IV year ECE student introduced the Alumni speaker.
Mr.U.Muthukumaravel, System Engineer, Equiniti India Pvt., Ltd., Chennai, was the resource speaker. He started the session by crafting the impactful resume and proceeded with networking strategies for job seekers. He explained the job opportunities available on online platforms. Alumni speaker also discussed about identifying and leveraging internships, volunteer opportunities, networking events and free online tools for upgrading the student’s skill. The speaker engaged the session with interaction. Students were attended the session very eagerly. Around 120 members participated in the Alumni guest lecture. Queries were clarified by the resource speaker and the Vote of Thanks was done by Ms.N.Gangarani, Assistant Professor/ECE.
