The NCC Unit Inauguration Ceremony of Paavai Engineering College was held on 23rd January 2026 in the college premises with great pride and enthusiasm in the presence of Chairman Shri CA. N V Natrajan, Correspondent smt. Mangai Natrajan and Principal Dr. M.Premkumar. The chief guest of the event was Colonel ASHWIN SUNDER, Officer Commanding, 11 (TN) Sig Coy NCC,Salem.The programme marked a significant milestone as the college formally initiated its National Cadet Corps (NCC) activities, aimed at instilling discipline, leadership, and patriotism among students.
The Chief Guest inspired the students and NCC cadets to embrace five essential principles in life—discipline, respect, responsibility, hard work, and gratitude. He also reminded them of the core values of the NCC, highlighting its motto, the three aims, the four cardinal virtues, and the ten commendatory factors. His words resonated deeply, serving as guiding principles that shape not only disciplined cadets but also responsible citizens and future leaders of India.
The highlight of the event was the oath-taking ceremony, where the newly enrolled NCC cadets, pledged their commitment to serve the nation with honesty and discipline. The chief guest administered the NCC pledge, and the cadets showcased their enthusiasm with impeccable synchronisation.The college cadets rendered the NCC Song with enthusiasm, filling the atmosphere with patriotic spirit and camaraderie
