Cracking MAANG with AI

The Department of Cyber Security organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “Cracking MAANG & Career Growth with AI” on 11.02.2026 at Kalam’s Chamber.

The session commenced with a prayer song rendered by Ms. Naveena R., Third Year Cyber Security, and Ms. Sridharani, Second Year Cyber Security, which created a positive and welcoming atmosphere for the event.

The programme began with a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. Srija S., Third Year Cyber Security, who greeted the gathering and highlighted the significance of the session.

The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. K. Selvi, Dean Academics, Paavai Institutions. In her address, she emphasized that artificial intelligence is not only transforming cybersecurity but also redefining career pathways in the modern era. She highlighted AI as a powerful tool for informed decision-making and technological resilience, enabling professionals to succeed in dynamic industries. Connecting her thoughts to the theme “Cracking MAANG & Career Growth with AI,” she explained how AI-driven tools and strategies are reshaping preparation methods for aspirants aiming at leading tech companies. By leveraging AI for skill enhancement, interview readiness, and problem-solving, individuals can build strong digital competencies and remain future-ready.

Following this, Ms. N. Keerthi, Third Year Cyber Security, introduced the Resource Person, Mr. G. Jayasuriya, Founder & CEO of Cybernaut Ed Tech Private Ltd., acknowledging his expertise in data analytics and technological solutions.

The keynote address was delivered by Mr. G. Jayasuriya, who explained how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing career opportunities in the digital era. He introduced students to essential AI concepts and demonstrated how accuracy in problem-solving and decision-making contributes to professional growth and industry readiness. He also highlighted popular AI tools and frameworks widely used in modern organizations, particularly those influencing recruitment and innovation in leading tech companies.

Mr. Jayasuriya shared several real-world applications of AI in career development, illustrating how professionals use intelligent systems to enhance interview preparation, personalize learning pathways, and improve operational efficiency. He stressed the importance of developing AI-driven analytical and technical skills to become industry-ready and competitive for MAANG-level roles.

He also provided practical demonstrations on AI-powered coding assistance, anomaly detection in problem-solving, and the step-by-step workflow of AI-driven projects. Students gained insights into how data is monitored, filtered, analyzed, and interpreted to address real-time challenges—skills directly applicable to technical interviews and workplace scenarios.
