YRC stands for Youth Red Cross, a group movement for students affiliated with the Indian Red Cross Society. It aims to encourage community service and humanitarian activities among youth. YRC volunteers engage in various activities like first aid, disaster management, health awareness, and blood donation. 

The main objective is to develop new skills and help students to gain knowledge, skills and experience in coding, designing, leadership,  excellent problem-solving skills, group development and management  

Talent Quest for India (TQI) of Paavai Engineering College is a team of enthusiastic youth volunteers with a vision of creating socially responsible leaders in every community. Paavai TQI has transformed from an idea of student involvement in social activities in their neighbourhood to a volunteering movement since 2015. With a volunteer of around 200 contributing to our society and School students.  

The Trekking club at Paavai gives most of the students an opportunity to break from their daily routine and experience life in simplicity of mother Earth. Every year the student volunteers were taken to trekking expedition to create and foster among students a spirit of risk taking, team work, capacity to face and effectively deal with challenging situations.

The Youth Counselling Forum at Paavai Engineering College is a dedicated platform committed to supporting the mental, emotional, and social well-being of students. It aims to create a safe, inclusive, and empathetic environment where young individuals can express themselves freely and seek guidance for personal and academic challenges. The forum especially supports students from diverse backgrounds, including those facing emotional distress, academic pressure, social isolation, or personal difficulties. By offering counselling services, workshops, and awareness programs, the forum ensures that all students have equal access to support systems that promote resilience, mental wellness, and holistic development.
