Paavai NSS volunteer Ms.G.Elakiya, IV-year, B.E. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) received the best NSS Volunteer Award from the 30 NSS shortlisted volunteers at the Tamil Nadu State Level for the year 2021-22.

Mr.R.Surya, final year student of Civil Engineering has secured state level 2nd prize in Gold Medal Contest 2022-2023 organized by the Federation of all Civil Engineers Associations of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (FACEAT & P). He has been awarded with 2 gram gold coin with a shield on 28.03.2023 at Tirunelveli. Out of 89 Final participants from all over Tamil Nadu were selected for Final round, among that, our student Mr.R.Surya has secured 2nd place at State Level.

(Mechanical Engineering) selected and participating NSS –Participation Republic Day Parade Camp 2023, New Delhi from 01 January 2023 to 31 January 2023. M.Rachel from final year ECE has successfully completed her “SUMMER RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP” sponsored by Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc), Banglore, Indian National Science Academy(INSA) New Delhi ,The National Academy of Sciences, India(NASI). She worked on project entitled “Study on lunar mare orientale’s in crater using empirical remote sensing and fuzzy logic techniques: A case study of Planetary exploration” in online mode during December 2020 – January 2021

Sweshikha , II-Year B.E. ECE attended the Republic Day Parade-2018 at New Delhi and also she Participated in the Republic Day Parade Camp 2020, New Delhi. On 30th January we visited Uparashtrapathi Bhavan to meet The Honorable Vice President of India Shri. M. Venkaiah Naidu and The honorable Vice President addressed the gathering with wonderful speech and it was a wonderful experience.

Best Nss Volunteer Awards (2018-19) At Anna University Level
National Service Scheme (NSS) Anna University, Chennai appreciates all the affiliated engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu for their NSS activities and gives the award every year. The NSS award function for the year 2018-19 was conducted on 15.10.2019 was presided by Dr.K.K.Surappa, Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai. Paavai Engineering College volunteer Ms.M.Subasri, Final Year, B.E. (Agriculture Engineering) received the for best NSS Volunteer Award among the 36 NSS Volunteers shortlisted at the Tamil Nadu State Level for the year 2018-19.

Mr.C.Natarajan, Department of Information Technology, was conferred the prestigious Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Award for ‘Best Engineering College Student’ in the year of 2019. He received the Award in the 52nd Engineers’ Day Celebrations of The Institution of Engineers (India) IEI on 18th September at Salem, India.
