The Department of Management Studies at Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) organized the inauguration of the MMA Students Chapter on February 5, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at CUTE Hall.
Shri CA. N. V. Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, and Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, Paavai Educational Institutions, presided over the function. Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College and Director of the MBA department, along with the faculty members of the MBA department, graced the occasion.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. M. R. Gayathri, a first-year MBA student. Shri CA. N. V. Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Educational Institutions, provided an insightful overview of the Madras Management Association (MMA) and its role in fostering management education and professional growth.
Dr. R. Venkataraman, General Manager of Madras Management Association, Chennai, officially inaugurated the Students Chapter with an inspiring speech on the significance of management education and industry readiness. As part of the Students Chapter activities, he announced the commencement of regular workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs aimed at enhancing students’ skills and knowledge.
The inauguration of the Students Chapter by the General Manager of MMA, Chennai, marked the beginning of a new journey towards academic excellence and industry preparedness.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. B. Sowmiya, a first-year MBA student, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and students for their participation and support.
