Department of Information Technology in association with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC-PEC) and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) has celebrated “World Innovation and Creativity Day” at Bright Hall on 21.04.2023. Our The presidential address was given by Dr.M.Prem Kumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College. He stressed the importance of IIC and ISTE activities. Dr.B.Venkatesan, Head of the department, Information Technology facilitated the function. Ms.N.Reema from Second Year IT, welcomed the gathering. Then, Ms.S.Devadharshini from Third Year IT, introduced the chief guest.
Our Special chief guest was Mr.D.Kishor Kumar, Project Manager, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Chennai. Gave many useful ideas on innovation and creativity, which inspired the students a lot along with his invaluable experience from industry. He shared his knowledge in the field of cyber security and scope and its perks. The guest had a interactive session with students for getting creative ideas for providing them a useful solutions.
Ms.K.Swarna from Second Year IT proposed the Vote of Thanks. All the students benefitted from his interactive sessions.
